Speech Therapy
Does your child struggle to articulate their sounds correctly? Do they seem to not understand everything being said to them at home or in the classroom? Do they struggle to put their thoughts into words, or seem to have trouble integrating what they hear and taking action with it? Do they seem to have difficulty understanding or utilizing appropriate social behavior? Your child may benefit from speech-language therapy.
A speech-language therapist will listen to your concerns and complete an evaluation. She will then write up a plan of care unique to your child, with both short and long term goals. Therapy can be conducted in our clinic or in the child’s school (pending administrative approval). Speech-language therapy could assist in your child being more successful at home, in the classroom, and in the community.
